Mrs. Geraldine Vaughn Brookshire, age 72 of Dalton passed away Saturday November 12, 2016 at the Hamilton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Ellen Russell, and a sister, Ressie Caldwell.
She is survived by her spouse, James Brookshire, children and spouses, Randy and Pam Vaughn of Dalton and Brent and Gina Brookshire of Orando, FL.
Grandchildren, Olivia Vaughn, Henry Vaughn of Dalton and Taylor Ayres of Orlando, FL. Sisters, Edith Stephens of Dalton, Esther Scott of Resaca, Dessie Fowler of Chatsworth, and Gail Weinthall of Alabama. A brother, W. M. Russell of Chatsworth. Several Neices and Nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday 2 pm at the Welcome Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Postell officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday 5 till 8 pm. In lieu of Flowers please make donations to the Welcome Hill Baptist Church Youth Program, 2772 East Welcome Hill Circle, Dalton GA 30721.
