Mr. Archie Alvin Watson: Obituary

Mr. Archie Alvin Watson, 81 of Eton, GA, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center.

Archie was a member of Dewberry Baptist Church. He enjoyed collecting antique cars, piddling and walking.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Julie and Fred Watson; sisters, Ruby Worley, Reathel Cochran; brothers, Weldon Watson, Johnny Watson, and Cecile Watson.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Diane and David Nichols of Crandall; brothers and sister-in-law, R.C. and Mary Watson of Crandall, and LC Watson of Crandall; sisters, Charity Stanley of Eton, Ruth Bettis of Chatsworth, and Ethel Miller of Cherry Log, GA; grandchildren, Eric and Otilia Watson, Jonathan and Christy Evans, Brandon and Amy Evans, Sabrina and Hank Quarles, and Brandy Jordan; great grandchildren, Gage Watson, Brody Watson, Chelsey Sprayberry, Jacob Evans, Joseph Evans, Ashton Allen, Adon Allen, Mason Evans, Mary Alyssa Coran, Braxton Quarles, Saddie Quarles, Mckenzie Quarles, Tristan Jordan, Cheyanne Jordan; close and personal friend, Lois Patterson Hunter.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Archie Alvin Watson will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2016 from the Chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Hipps Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
