Lindel “Linda” Sue Walker: Obituary

Lindel “Linda” Sue Walker of Chatsworth, GA passed away at the age of 76 on Tuesday, September 20th, in Atlanta, GA following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Linda was preceded in death by her father Dandy Walker, mother Viola Moore Walker, and sister Ann Clark.

She is survived by her son Clark Thomas of Atlanta, GA and her four siblings: Carlton “Bud” Walker of Cisco, GA; Charles “Dink” Walker of Chatsworth, GA; Gayle Defore of Tunnel Hill, GA; and Greta Lawless of Chatsworth, GA.

A longtime member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church of Chatsworth, GA and congregant of Amazing Grace Baptist of Crandall, GA, Linda will be missed by friends and extended family.

The family will receive visitors at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home in Chatsworth, GA on Wednesday, September 21st, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will also be held at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home on Thursday, September 22nd, at 2:00 p.m. Following this service, she will be laid to rest in the family plot at Cool Springs Baptist Church in Chatsworth, GA.
