Mrs. Linda Fay Blankenship Westmoreland: Obituary

Linda Fay Blankenship Westmoreland, age 69, of Chatsworth passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016.

Mrs. Westmoreland was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting, researching family history, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tut Westmoreland, and her parents, Bud & Monteen Blankenship.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Lamar H. Cloer (Rhonda), Mark G. Cloer (Veta), and Dr. Toby Westmoreland – all of Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Yulonda Snyder (Wayne) of Somerset, KY and Gail Brock (Michael) of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marlene Mealor (Ray) of Chatsworth and Angie Smith (Ronnie) of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Nicholas Cloer (Tasha White), Adam Snyder, Aaron Snyder (Brook), Kayla Gilbert (James), Kayli Cloer, Kelsey Brock (Seth Stainton), and Kyle Brock; great-grandchildren, Lindsey Cloer, Alyssa Cloer, Jay Gilbert, Isabelle Gilbert, Riley Snyder, and Kayson Snyder; and several dear extended family members.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Westmoreland will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Matthew Harris and Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
