Mr. Roy Branam: Obituary

Roy Branam, age 87, of Crossville, TN passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016.

Mr. Branam was a member of Lantana Road Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and watching tv westerns.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Henry Branam; mother, Lou Branam Truelove; stepfather, W. A. Truelove; brothers, J R and Spence Branam; sister, Ruby Carver; brothers-in-law, Leon Pritchett, Ernie Carver, Mitchell Pritchett, C. W. Crider, and Charles Copeland; sisters-in-law, Praise Branam, Gladys Branam, Euna Vee Copeland, and Mildred Crider; and niece, Nancy Robinson.

Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Geneva Pritchett Branam; son and daughter-in-law, Michael & Linda Branam of Troy, IL; daughter and son-in-law, Dale & Jody Drumright of Battery Park, VA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Winston & Mildred Branam of Ringgold and Ernest & Brenda Branam of Ringgold; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy & James Cronan of Covington, GA, Ruth & Richard Hammontree of Chatsworth, Birdell Pritchett of Chatsworth, and JoAnn & Norman McCullough of Conyers, GA; grandchildren, Jason Kerby (Nanci), Jamie Carr (Dan), Jon Branam (Misty), Josh Branam (Jen), Jon Kooley, and Jerrad Kooley (Carla); great-grandchildren, Brenden Kerby, Justin Kerby, Lindsey Snipp, Astrid Smith, Arlo Carr, Michael Branam, Jenna Branam, Chance Branam, Brayden Dicksen, Mason Kooley, and Kyra Kooley; and several dear extended family members.

Funeral services for Mr. Branam will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home of Chatsworth with Rev. Scott Johnson and Rev. Brian Branam officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 167 of Chatsworth.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
