Mrs. Kathleen Whitmore Meyers: Obituary

Mrs. Kathleen Whitmore Meyers, age 58, of Crandall, passed away Friday June 17, 2016 at her residence.

She was a member of the House of Prayer. She enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies and attending church.

Mrs. Meyers was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Meyers; father, Bill Whitmore; mother, Frances Mabel Whitmore; uncle, James Calvin Whitmore.

Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Cassie Whitmore and Carl Miller, Crandall; son, Michael Whitmore, Crandall; brother, William Whitmore, Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Darlene and Ed Dills, Chatsworth, Faye and Fred Baker, Chatsworth; grandchildren, Bree Miller, Austin Miller and Sally Whitmore; Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Family would like to give a special thanks to, Chrystal Ashcraft, Sabrina Sharpe and Joe Dills for all the help they gave to Mrs. Myers.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Myers will be held Monday June 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Bishop and Rev. Gene Thomason officiating. Interment will follow in the Cohutta Hills Community Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
