Mr. Stanton Terry Jones: Obituary

Mr. Stanton Terry Jones age 85, of Chatsworth, passed away Sunday May 29, 2016.

Mr. Jones was a member of the Chatsworth First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cattle farming and watching the Atlanta Braves.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his father, James Stanton Jones; mother, Lucille Terry Jones; brother, James Thomas Jones.

Survivors include, wife, Carolyn Adams Jones of Chatsworth; sons and daughters-in-law, Mickey and Donna Jones, Ted and Susan Jones, Scotty and Danielle Jones all of Chatsworth; daughter, Angie Jones of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Mandi Durham (Brent), Matt Jones, Mitch Jones (Kristen), Brandon Jones (Amy), Stanton Jones (Alison), Sam Jones, Kale Jones, Hunter Jones, Payton Jones, Kaleb Jones, Josie Jones, Taylor Swilling and Payton Swilling; great-grandchildren, Tucker and Brentley Durham, Tyler and Addison Jones, Avery and Allie Jones, Brody, Camden and Caleb Jones; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Janie Jones Davis of Woodstock, James and Virginia Adams of Chatsworth, Gary and Dian Green of Chatsworth.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Jones will be held Thursday June 2, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. George Ross and Rev. Tamlyn Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Faith Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
