Mrs. Virginia L. Park

Mrs. Virginia L. Park age 72 of Chatsworth, passed away Saturday April 23, 2016 at her residence.

She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

Mrs. Park was preceded in death by her father, Robert Rayner; her mother, Virginia Comstock; her sister, Claire D. Sevinsky.

Survivors include, husband, Colvard Joe Park, Chatsworth; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert and Donna Birdsill, Norfolk, VA and Richard Birdsill, Chesapeake, VA; daughters, Valerie Birdsill, Bonnie Fulmer and Nina Goodrum; 3 step-daughters, Pam, Patrice and Lisa. Special care givers, grandson, Jeremy Birdsill and family friend, James Miller; Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ms. Park will be held Monday April 25, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairy Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
