Charles J.B. ‘Chaser’ Beavers: Obituary

Mr. Charles J.B. ‘Chaser’ Beavers age 80 of Chatsworth, passed away Tuesday January 26, 2016.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 167 Chatsworth, GA.

Mr. Beavers was preceded in death by his parents, Bart and Martha Beavers; wife, Alice Beavers; sister, Nina Jo Hall; brothers, Dee, Horace, Bill and Hover Hooker and Herschel Layman ; mother-in-law, Mina Baggett; father-in-law, Audrey Youell; step-father-in-law, Bill Baggett.

Survivors include, son and daughter-in-law, Buddy and Lois Beavers, Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Audrey and Buford Head, Chatsworth, Angela and Michael Johnson, Copperhill, TN; grandchildren and spouses, Andy and Tiffany Beavers, Charlie and Roxanna Beavers, Cindy and Jacob Pless; great-grandchildren, Kierston Beavers. Emily Beavers, and Cayden Beavers; sister-in-law, Mary Hooker Chatsworth; brother-in-law, Paul Hall, Chatsworth; special pet, ‘Trixie.’

Funeral services to celebrate the life Mr. Beavers will be held Friday January 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Pastor Edwin Puckett officiating. Interment will follow in the Mtn. View Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friend Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
