Joseph “Joe” Bates Noland: Obituary

Mr. Joseph “Joe” Bates Noland, 79 of Chatsworth, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center.

Mr. Noland was a member of Holly Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading his Bible, spending time with his grandchildren and singing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Oma Noland.

Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Noland of Chatsworth; son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Jo-Jo Noland of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Andy and Pat Noland of Dalton, Bobby and Wanda Noland of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and J.W. Hopper of Chatsworth; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gordon “Junior” and Bennie Long of Chatsworth, Mike and Delores Long of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Cassie Noland McEntire and her husband Justin McEntire, Zoie Noland; great-grandchild, Logan McEntire. Nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Joseph “Joe” Noland will be held Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from Holly Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Hare and Rev. Danny Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holly Creek Baptist Church Renovation Fund at 422 Holly Creek Cool Springs Road, Chatsworth, Georgia 30705.
