Edna Marie “Tudie” Castello: Obituary

Mrs. Edna Marie “Tudie” Castello , age 87, of Chatsworth, Georgia, formally of Vermilion County and Lockport, Illinois, went home to be with Jesus on October 20, 2015.
She was born Feb, 2, 1928 in Fairmont, Illinois, daughter of the late, Ike and Nina Jarvis Taylor and a member of Smyrna Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, David Castello, son: David Castello, Jr. and a brother Robert Taylor.
She is survived by children and spouses: Daniel & Pam Castello, Donald & Linda Castello, all of Lockport, IL., Joy Castello of Chatsworth, grandchildren and spouses: Amanda & Charlie Irizarry, Kevin & Megan Castello, Allison Castello, Jessica & Andy Karuchit, Michael & Claudia Castello, Garrett Castello, and Bradley Castello,  great grandchildren: Harper Castello, Callie Costello, Drew Karuchit, and Zoe Irizarry who is due in a few weeks.  Sister: Dean Hickman of Danville, IL., Brother and sister in law: Jack & Carolyn Taylor of Covington, Indiana, special friends: Viola Green & John Miller, many nieces & nephews, cousins & friends.  She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
Funeral Services  will be Saturday, October 24, at 11 am at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Andrew Bowen officiating.  Interment will be in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.  The family will receive friends on Friday 5 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
