Mr. John Marvin ( J.M.) Smith: Obituary

Mr. John Marvin ( J.M.)  Smith of Chatsworth, age 77 went to be with the Lord,  Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Wood Dale Health Care Center.

Mr. Smith was a Decon at Mt. View Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his parents, John Alfred and Gertrude Smith and a brother Edward Smith.

Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Geneva Smith. Children and spouses Marshall and Angie Smith, Debbie and Steve Curtis all of Chatsworth, Chad and Jenny Smith of Adairsville.

Grandchildren Stephanie, Niki, Cody, Kolby, Mandy, Jeremy Jessica, Meghan, Katie, and  Lauren. Six Great Grandchildren, Sister, Peggy Jackson, and two brothers, T. J. Smith of Chatsworth and Doug Smith of Resaca. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be Monday 4 pm at the Mt. View Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Beason and Rev. Randy Jackson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Church cemetery.

The family will recieve friends at the funeral home Sunday 1 pm till 9 pm.
