Marvin L. Colter: Obituary

Mr. Marvin L. Colter, age 71 of Chatsworth, passed away September 2, 2015 at the residence.

He was preceded in death by his son, Lamar Colter, father, Dewey Lee Colter, mother in law and father in law, Rev. James and Minnie Bowen.

Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Pauline (Bowen) Colter, Mother, Mildred Wilbanks of Chatsworth and step mother Virginia Colter of Paris, IL.

Children and spouses, Dewey and Lynn Colter, Michelle Colter Thomason, Shaun and Tina Colter all of Chatsworth.

Grandchildren, Ethan Colter, Austin Colter, Hannah Lawson, Ashlyn Colter, Ross Young, Chase Young, and Chelsea Young.

Brothers and sisters in law, Billy and Lula Colter of Chatsworth, Harold and Irene Wilbanks of Ringgold.

Sisters and brother in law, Debbie North of Redmond, IL, Paulette Wilbanks, Ann and Ray Stanley all of Chatsworth. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be Friday 2 pm from the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will recieve friends at the funeral home Wednesday after 6 pm, Thursday and Friday till the funeral hour.
